50 Cent To Produce Live-Action Film With Black Comic Pioneer For Dc Comics' “XERØ*”
As part of his G-Unit Film & Television company, 50 Cent is developing a live-action movie based on DC Comics' XERØ*
The movie will follow a Black assassin who conceals his identity and blends in seamlessly with the international elite's exotic Casino Royale haunts, while telling the story of his moral awakening and the perils it poses.
The rapper has plans to develop Xerø* into a complete on-screen franchise in addition to the single movie.
50 Cent stated, "There's no one better than Christopher Priest to bring G-Unit Film & Television into the world of comic book superheroes." He continued, "Watch us build Xerø* into a franchise alongside Christopher and Color Farm Media." Looking forward to introducing Trane Walker to the world in all new ways.”
Producers Erika Alexander, Ben Arnon, and Joseph Illidge also expressed excitement about working with 50 Cent.
"Xer* represents a slow-moving car wreck that happens at the intersection of race and class," he said. A wide appreciation for that delicate balance is assured by the common experience represented by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, G-Unit Film & Television and Color Farm.
Together we can bring this new era to life."
