Hailey Bieber Hospitalized With ‘Stroke Like Symptoms’
It was reported that the model was admitted to a Palm Springs area hospital due to a brain condition thought to be linked to COVID-19.
“We’re told it affected the way she moved, and the symptoms are typical for much older people,” the outlet said.
After doctors reportedly ran a battery of tests to determine whether the coronavirus was the cause of her symptoms, Bieber was released from the hospital, Sources say she is “now doing ok”
Hailey's husband Justin Bieber recently postponed multiple concert dates on his Justice World Tour after testing positive for COVID-19. He has since recovered.
“Due to positive COVID results within the Justice Tour family, we will unfortunately have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas,” a statement from the tour read. “Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority. The tour launch in San Diego was a massive success, and Justin is excited to bring this spectacular show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible.”
Hailey addressed the health concern, saying it was similar to a stroke... but she is doing better now.
According to Hailey, this happened on Thursday morning, when she started experiencing "stroke-like symptoms," and then was taken to the hospital where doctors discovered she had a small blood clot in her brain, causing a lack of oxygen.
It eventually passed through her body naturally, and she now is at home and doing well, even though she describes the experience as frightening. Hailey thanks the doctors and medical staff who helped, as well as everyone for their well-wishes.
