The Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz joined VladTV to discuss Dave Chapelle and his alleged role in halting a low income housing plan in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Videos emerged in February of the veteran comedian expressing his displeasure with a planned development at a village council meeting. During the video, he threatened to withdraw his investment in a restaurant and a comedy club.
Chappelle's spokesperson, Carla Sims, later stated that Chappelle rejected the affordable housing project not because it was unfeasible, but because it was poorly designed.
“Dave Chappelle didn’t kill affordable housing,” Sims told ABC News. “Concerned residents and a responding Village Council ‘killed’ a half-baked plan which never actually offered affordable housing.”
However, it seems Boosie didn't get the memo that the issue was long since resolved.
“He probably is trying to build a player’s paradise,” Boosie said. “He don’t want all them n-ggas in there. You know how it goes, man? We, as Black people, all of us are not businessmen, man. Some people are just criminals. That’s white, black, everything. He could be building a player’s paradise. For $65 million, I say who the fuck come in this bitch, and who leaving.”
Boosie made headlines earlier this month, when he went on Instagram Live with his 18-year-old son to perform a vaginal exam, the same son he allowed to have oral sex with a woman while he was underage. Boosie defended his actions by asking, “If this is so wrong, him looking at some cat, what is right for him to look at?”
