Christian Kirk Defends Kyler Murray on Rumors of Being a 'Bad Teammate and a Poor Leader'

The claims that Kyler Murray is a bad teammate and a poor leader are completely false, says Christian Kirk, Cardinals teammate who told TMZ Sports he loves Murray.

Kirk said nothing but nice things about the Arizona star outside JLT Performance GYM in Los Angeles this week, stating he has no problems with him.

"He's a great friend of mine and he's always treated me well and teammates around him well," said Kirk, who's played with Murray in Arizona since 2019. "Every time he steps on the field, he wants to win."

Recent reports, however, contradict Kirk's claim, especially after Murray deleted Arizona Cardinals-related pictures from social media.

Multiple outlets reported that the Cardinals are unhappy with the 24-year-old quarterback, and they want to see more maturity, better play, and more leadership from him before they give him a huge contract extension.

Kirk, though, made it clear he hasn't seen any of those issues with the QB, saying, "I believe he deserves everything that he's earned and that he has coming."

Kirk might not be able to play with Kyler anymore moving forward ... rumor has it that Christian may become a Buffalo Bill after vacationing with star QB Josh Allen last month.
