D.l. Hughley Responds to Theophilus London Claiming That he 'Pressed' Him Over Kanye West

D.L. Hughley has come forward to tell his side of the story regarding Theophilus London. The Trinidadian rapper claimed he "pressed" Hughley over the recent spat with Kanye West, prompting the comedian's security to intervene. According to VladTV, Hughley was taken aback by London's account. According to him, there was just a brief verbal exchange.

According to the 59-year-old, he noticed London repeatedly walking past his table as he ate dinner with his family at Nobu in Malibu. London was taking selfies in the bathroom mirror when Hughley went to the restroom. London then asked, “What up OG?” before bringing up his feud with Kanye and telling him he needs to “make it right.” But Hughley fired back, “[Kanye West] needs to make it right!”

The conversation ended there, he said, and London exited the bathroom. He also noted that restaurant security intervened - not his.

D.L. Hughley’s recollection of the incident differs from London’s. A series of photos and videos London uploaded to his Instagram Stories appeared to show him confronting Hughley near the bathroom.

“LMAO,” he wrote. “I TOLD HIM TO APOLOGIZE ON CAMERA FOR DOING THAT VLAD INTERVIEW AND HIS PEOPLE CALLED SECURITY.”

A clip showed London walking toward Hughley's dinner table. London was pushed away by security before he could speak. He captioned that post, “I’M A GOOD BOY AND PEACE MAKER THO, JUST CAME TO BALL ON SOME FISH.”
