D Smoke shares his latest music video, and he brought the brass with him.
Sergio directed the video for the Westside Boogie-featured track "Crossover," which appears on Smoke's sophomore LP War & Wonders. The clip shows Smoke making his way through Inglewood with a band in tow. He pops into a sour basketball match, goes to a house party with Boogie, and spitting down the street with his entourage.
“Everything crosses over,” the Grammy-nominated California MC said of the visual. “Day turns to night, seasons change, and tough guys turn coward in the right circumstances. The video shows how what started as a friendly game can go sour with just one crossover. But like we always do, we keep moving and party when it’s all said and done. Wood Stuff.”
D Smoke's latest album, released back in September via WoodWorks Records/Empire, shows his range with features from John Legend, Fireboy DML, BJ the Chicago Kid, Tobe Nwigwe, Marsha Ambrosius, and more.
