Fans were talking about 50 Cent's surprise appearance at the Pepsi Halftime Show during the Super Bowl LVI Pepsi Halftime Show on February 13th, from him hanging upside down to performing "In Da Club" to his heavier frame.
The most talked-about moment, though, was 50 putting on the G-Unit tank and headband he wore in the early 2000s for the electrifying set. Immediately, fans were taken back to the days when 50 Cent and his G-Unit crew dominated MTV, BET, and anywhere else fans got their music
Now, the Queens rapper wants his fans to relive those memories as he has announced that the G-Unit tank tops and headbands will be available again. On Tuesday (February 15), 50 Cent announced that pre-orders were now open for the tanks tops, which come in blue and red, whereas the headbands are only available in white.
50 wrote in his tweet, "Get your G-Unit Tanktops & Headbands Now," and included a link that takes fans to the order page. The tank tops sell for $39.99, while the headbands cost $19.99.
Having received negative comments for gaining a few pounds, 50 Cent will be looking to see how this new merch drop does. Even though the Power mogul had no trouble getting through his performance of “In Da Club,” people couldn’t help but let the fat jokes fly.
