
The New York State Fair is giving fans another chance to catch Nelly this summer. Announcing the Grammy-winning rapper's return to the fairgrounds on Aug. 31, fair officials announced Monday (Feb. 21).
Troy Waffner, fair director, said Nelly's show last year was one of the biggest in fair history.
This year, the state fair will be held at the fairgrounds near Syracuse from Aug. 24 to Sept. 5. The concerts are sponsored by Chevrolet, and admission to the fair is free.
Nelly is known for his songs such as "Hot in Herre," "Country Grammar," and "Ride Wit Me." He has won three Grammys for his work.
