Freddie Gibbs Calls 50 Cent 'the Goat' After Starring in the Next Episode for the 'Power' Universe



While fans suspected Freddie Gibbs' upcoming album SSS was supposed to be the highlight of his year, but haven't been paying attention to his budding acting career. In recent months, ESGN rapper has made major waves in the TV world, and now he'll appear in 50 Cent's Power universe.


Gangsta Gibbs took part in the trailer for Power Book IV: Force's next episode, "Outrunning a Ghost." The 30-second spot shows the Alfredo MC dapping up Jenard Sampson (played by Kris D. Lofton), the smart, yet wild, leader of Chicago Brothers Inc.



Gibbs plays a character named Buddy, a "crazy and unpredictable" hustler who has established himself as a drug kingpin in Gary, Indiana (Gibbs' home town).


“Let’s fuckin go!!!!! #Power #Force,” he tweeted along with the trailer for “Outrunning a Ghost,” which premieres on Sunday (March 20) on STARZ.


Amidst fans' excitement over his Power Book IV: Force role, Freddie Gibbs took a moment to salute Power creator and fellow rapper/actor 50 Cent.


“Much love to @50cent The [GOAT],” he tweeted.
