Freddie Gibbs on Meeting LeBron James at the Super Bowl: "Thought LeBron Was Gonna Beat My Ass"

Freddie Gibbs has never shied away from saying what he believes, whether it is about Hip Hop or basketball. But his opinions about the Los Angeles Lakers almost got him into trouble with the team's star player - or so he thought.

Gangsta Gibbs shared a clip to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday (March 8), in which he recalls bumping into LeBron James during Super Bowl weekend a month ago and admits the 6-foot-9, 250-pound NBA was going to "beat [his] ass" for previously talking trash about the Lakers.

“I talked to LeBron [at] Super Bowl weekend. I was like, ‘Oh shit!'” he said while watching ESPN in bed. “Look, I thought LeBron was gonna beat my ass. I ain’t even gon’ lie, man. I was prepared to get my ass whooped for talking shit about the Lakers.”

Fortunately for Freddie, LeBron James did not throw hands. In fact, the two seemed to get along well, with Gibbs calling King James "a real n-gga."
