Larry June and Jay Worthy Share Collab Album ‘2 P’z in a Pod’ Feat. Jim Jones, Roc Marciano, & More

Larry June and Jay Worthy have teamed up for their new collaborative album 2 P'z in a Pod.

The 11-track project features the previously released single "Leave It Up to Me," as well as guest appearances by Jim Jones, Roc Marciano, CeeLo Green, and Suga Free.

June and Worthy have collaborated on a number of songs throughout the past few years, starting with the Chuck Inglish-produced loosie "On Sight" in 2018. Since then, June contributed a verse to Worthy's 2020 mixtape Eat When You're Hungry Sleep When You're Tired, and the latter returned the favor with his Numbers tape the following year. The pair most recently collaborated on "Survival Series '95," a track from Westside Gunn's 2021 project Hitler Wears Hermes VIII: Sincerely Adolf.

“This album has been a long time in the making,” Worthy said of 2 P’z in a Pod in a statement. “We spoke about this in 2018 and waited for the right time. Really proud of this album and that’s my brother in real life so u can hear the chemistry on the tracks. Guarantee nothing else sounds like this out right now.”

June added, “Me and Worthy been mapping this project out for over 4 years. We actually thought to do this tape while hiking in Los Angeles in 2018, after a couple trips to Vegas bussin moves we decided to execute it. Took a little time but we are here now. Much love to Sean House as well. Jay my bro so this was easy…half of the songs I forgot we even did! Numbers, aye aye aye.”

With the release, Worthy and June shared the music video for "She's Not Around/Maybe The Next Time." Watch the video and stream 2 P'z in a Pod below.
