Gunna will bring the drip to Saturday Night Live. It was revealed Monday (March 21) that the YSL rapper will be making his SNL debut on April 2's episode, while comedian Jerrod Carmichael will be hosting.
It will be Lizzo's return to the SNL stage on April 16 where she'll work overtime as the musical guest and host.
During an episode hosted by Eddie Murphy, "Truth Hurts" artist made her Saturday Night Live debut in 2019. In addition to performing hits such as "Truth Hurts" and "Good As Hell", she also made an appearance in an online-only skit that was unfortunately omitted from the live broadcast.
In between Lizzo and Gunna's episodes, Camila Cabello will appear on SNL on April 9 with actor Jake Gyllenhaal hosting. He is currently promoting Ambulance, in which he stars alongside Wale in a heist-themed film.
Gunna has enjoyed a healthy mainstream rise in 2022 thanks to the release of his DS4Ever album, which beat out The Weeknd for No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in January with 150,300 total album-equivalent units earned.
