As well as Quavo, Machine Gun Kelly is joining the 2K Sports family. On Wednesday (February 23), 2K announced that MGK would curate and executive produce the soundtrack for WWE 2K22.
In addition to the video game, the Ohio native will also be a playable character in the game, fulfilling his childhood dream of being a wrestler. As far as when gamers will be able to get MGK into the ring, that has yet to be determined and will be available as a downloadable content pack in the future.
A pair of Machine Gun Kelly tracks will appear on the soundtrack, including "Concert for Aliens" by Tickets to My Downfall and "Body Bag" by YUNGBLUD.
Additionally, he picked Wu-Tang Clan classic "Protect Ya Neck," The Weeknd's "Heartless," KennyHoopla's "Hollywood Sucks," and many more.
“Machine Gun Kelly has been an integral part of the WWE family for more than a decade including performances at WrestleMania and Tribute to the Troops, soundtracking our premium live events with his music, and making frequent storyline appearances on WWE programming over the years,” WWE Music Group SVP Neil Lawi said.
“He has curated a unique soundtrack for WWE 2K22 that includes not only his own music but a diverse array of artists from The Weeknd to KennyHoopla. The 12-track soundtrack is the perfect complement to this edition’s enhanced gameplay.”
MGK and Quavo previously collaborated on 2017's "Trap Paris" and they were once again teammates last week at the 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in Cleveland. Also a talented hooper himself, Huncho has joined the 2K Sports family and can be played in NBA 2K22.
