Nas Details Tense Incident With 2Pac On New Song "Death Row East"


On September 4, 1996, the MTV Video Music Awards took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, and Suge Knight were in Manhattan at a time when tensions were strong between their Death Row Records and several top Rap artists from New York City.


In new song off Nas's latest album (Kings Disease 2). Nas details the incident between him and Tupac Shakur after the 1996 MTV Music Awards at Central Park. Nas also debunks rumor that Tupac Shakur's former friend (Big Stretch) had something to do with the infamous 1994 Quad Studios incident where Tupac Shakur was robbed and shot.
