Having just proposed to his long-time partner, Jennifer Holland, James Gunn is ready to give marriage another try since he popped the question, saying "I do.".
The superhero movie director shared a photo on Sunday showing Holland while seated across from him sipping a drink ... showing a giant rock on her finger.
In their captions, both used heart emojis, a sure sign that they're excited to get married.
Holland and Gunn have been dating since 2015, and more recently ... Holland has appeared in Gunn's projects; he cast her as Emilia Harcourt in his take on 'The Suicide Squad' and then brought her back to reprise the role in the HBOMax spin-off 'Peacemaker' opposite John Cena.
The couple allegedly met through actor Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Lex Luthor in the CW series Smallville. The rest is history, as they say.
JH appears to be getting married for the first time - Gunn, meanwhile, was previously married to 'The Office' star Jenna Fischer... but they split in 2008 without having children.
There's quite a bit of age difference. Gunn is 55, and Holland is 35 or so. But it's obvious that they don't mind ... when you know you know.
