According to a purported text exchange between Pete Davidson and the artist formerly known as Kanye West, the Saturday Night Live star defends his girlfriend Kim Kardashian while telling the Doda 2 artist to "Grow the fuck up."
“Yo it’s Skete, Can you please take a second and calm down. It’s 8am and it don’t gotta be like this. Kim is literally the best mother I’ve ever met,” Davidson continued. “What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so fucking lucky that she’s your kids mom. I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the fuck up.”
Ye has limited involvement in the screenshot-captured conversations. At one point, he's seen asking Davidson where he is, and the King of Staten Island actor replies he's in bed with his wife before sharing a selfie.
Elsewhere, Ye is seen in screenshots inviting Davidson to a Sunday Service session and telling him that he’s “happy to see you’re out the hospital and rehab.” Davidson responded to this by extending the same to Ye, while also telling him to “stop being a little internet bitch boy.”
Also in the alleged texts, Davidson references mental health struggles and claims that he has "stopped SNL" and other comedians from making jokes about Ye.
