Pete Davidson Officially Heading to Space as Passenger on Jeff Bezos' Flight Company 'Blue Origin'

The Jeff Bezos-founded suborbital flight company Blue Origin announced that the Saturday Night Live star will be a passenger on an upcoming flight.

The company shared a press release on Monday announcing that the crew aboard its NS-20 flight will include Davidson, Marty Allen, Jim Kitchen, Dr. George Nield, and Sharon and Marc Hagle. The mission's launch is scheduled for March 23, marking the fourth human flight for Blue Origin's New Shepard program.

According to Monday's press release, every person aboard NS-20 will be carrying a postcard as part of the Club for the Future foundation's Postcards to Space program. For those of us still relegated to an Earth-based existence, live coverage of the mission is set to begin about an hour before the currently scheduled 9:30 a.m. ET launch time.

Blue Origin launched its third human flight in December, with Michael Strahan, Laura Shepard Churchley, Evan Dick, Cameron Bess, Dylan Taylor, and Lane Bess on board. In a statement shared at the time, Blue Origin CEO Bob Smith teased that the successful flight was just the beginning of what the company has planned for the future.
