Drake's certified classic sophomore album Take Care turned ten years old a few months ago, so Just Blaze is encouraging him to release the follow-up to one of the album's best songs.
The OVO rapper posted some throwback pictures to Instagram on Wednesday, one of which included Blaze in some vintage LRG clothing. In response, the legendary producer re-posted the Story and requested that Drake drop "Lord Knows Pt. 2.”
“Sooo… Can we put out Lord Knows pt. 2 now? Sponsored by the good folks at @lrgclothing,” Blaze wrote alongside the image.
Drizzy has yet to respond, but if there is a sequel to "Lord Knows", the streets need it. The original track featured Rick Ross and was the first time Blaze and Drake had ever got together on a track. The beat is electric, the bars are inspired, and the song captures the young, hungry energy that 'Take Care' embodies.
Sadly, Drake isn't really a sequel creator. A deep dive into his discography will reveal that the only song the rapper has ever followed up is "Paris Morton Music," which was included on Nothing Was The Same. Hopefully he can make an exception since "Lord Knows" is such a hard track.
