Snoop Dogg Joins Call of Duty: Warzone, Vanguard & Mobile as a Playable Operator

Is there anything that Snoop Dogg can't do? In addition to staring in countless commercials, co-producing television shows such as Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, owning the Death Row Records label, serving as an executive at Def Jam Recordings and running his own cannabis brand, Snoop Dogg is now a playable character in the Call of Duty video game.

A Call of Duty blog reports that Snoop Dogg's character will appear in Season 3 Call of Duty: Mobile, Vanguard, and Warzone. With a screenshot of his character, Snoop shared the news with his 71.4 million Instagram followers on Monday (March 20). The headline read, “SNOOP DOGG IS COMING TO CALL OF DUTY.”

He added, “The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game! Excited to be working with the COD team to bring some fly features for you all to enjoy. It’s dope….. y’all can play as me and get these sick items that have Snoop written all over them.”

The Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle for Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone will be available on April 19 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, although he will not be featured in Call of Duty: Mobile, just yet.

The Vanguard and Warzone Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle includes 10 items - three exclusive to Vanguard - and a full Operator progression track. Snoop's preferred weapon from Vanguard and three alternate outfits are among the rewards across the 20 levels of Operator progression.

The Lucky Draw version of Snoop has him “decked out head-to-toe in a 24K gold embroidered outfit” and includes a “new signature weapon based on a fast-firing Legendary SMG that’s gold-plated and diamond-encrusted.” The weapon’s death animation has been compared to the “lights of a mini-concert” that gets “even flashier” when players take out more people.
