Soulja Boy Says He'll Never Do a Collab With 6ix9ine

Soulja Boy may feel one way or the other on some days, whether it be defending his claim to being from Atlanta or his back and forth with Kanye West. Nonetheless, there's one artist who won't receive a verse from the "She Make It Clap" rapper, and he's quite adamant about it.

During a recent conversation with Raquel Harper for the It's Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast, Big Draco revealed the time had long passed for 6ix9ine and him to collab, considering 6ix9ine's history with the legal system and his decision to become a federal informant to shave time off his sentence.

“N-gga, hell nawl!” Soulja laughs. “I ain’t doin’ no damn song with you, get the fuck outta here! Yeah, we can’t do no song with 6ix9ine, he know that! He not expectin’ to get a Soulja Boy verse, he know that. It’s a wrap.”

He added, “It ain’t got nothin’ to do with me. We ain’t never did a song before, why we gon’ do one now? Why now though? You coulda did that when you first came out, the year after you came out … it’s too late! It’s way too late.”

The New York rapper Soulja wishes he could get a verse from JAY-Z, noting Beyoncé once did the "Crank Dat" dance and how the soon-to-be father had not only been instrumental in building internet culture in Hip Hop, but also in founding the social media platform TikTok.

6ix9ine is unlikely to get a guest feature to reboot his career.During a court appearance in 2021, the Brooklyn rapper told a judge he was on the verge of bankruptcy and struggling because his career had stalled.

In addition, the rapper's deal with 10K Projects expired in February, along with his merchandise deal.

Wack 100 confirmed 6ix9ine's financial woes on March 13 by saying he could barely afford $20 worth of gas, a dramatic change from his September 2021 claim that 6ix9ine had $43 million in business deals lined up.
