Steph Curry Signed Rookie Card Hits Auction and Gets $400,000 Starting Bid

As the Golden State Warriors look to add another championship to their crowded trophy case, a rare Steph Curry rookie card has hit the auction block.

According to TMZ Sports, the autographed 2009 rookie card debuted at PWCC Marketplace this week, with bidding already over $400,000. The 2009 National Treasures autographed patch piece features a young Steph donning the Warriors’ old road jerseys, and even includes a cutoff of his threads on the front of the card.

“Officials at PWCC tell us the card is ultra hot right now because it’s super rare (it’s numbered to just 99),” TMZ reported.

The news arrives after Curry led the Warriors to a series-tying win against the Celtics on Friday. Steph scored 43 points with 10 rebounds and four assists on 14-of-26 shooting from the floor and 7-of-14 from 3-point range in Golden State’s 107-97 win at Boston’s TD Garden on Friday night. He became just the fifth guard in NBA history to have at least 40 points and 10 rebounds in a Finals game.

Despite establishing himself as one of the greatest players in NBA history, Curry has yet to win a Finals MVP. That will change this year should the Warriors beat the Celtics.
