The NBA 2022 All-Star Game will include Machine Gun Kelly, Usher, Lil Wayne, Gunna, and more featuring Mary J. Blige and Ludacris.
It has been announced who will perform at the upcoming NBA All-Star Game 2022. It will be a halftime ceremony honoring 76 of the NBA's greatest players during the 71st All-Star game, which will be held at Rock Mortgage Fieldhouse on Sunday (Feb. 20).
Usher, Spike Lee, Tiffany Haddish, and Anthony Anderson will recount the history of the league as well as the players who've "shined the brightest and emphasized the themes of competition, culture, and inclusion which are the cornerstones of the NBA", according to a statement announcing the performers.
During the halftime finale, Earth, Wind and Fire will perform a version of their 1975 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Shining Star.". This year's All-Star Game, which airs live on TNT at 8 pm eastern time, will also feature Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly introducing both All-Star teams. DJ D-Nice will also perform the pre-game.
The Canadian National Anthem will be sung by Ryan James, a native of Toronto, while the American National Anthem will be sung by Macy Gray, a native of Ohio. DJ Khaled will perform during the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night festivities that begin at 8 p.m. on Feb. 19, along with Mary J. Blige, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Gunna, Migos and Lil Baby. ET on TNT.
As part of the first-ever NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T on Saturday, singer-actress Keke Palmer will perform the national anthem and the Black National Anthem ("Lift Every Voice and Sing") accompanied by the Howard University Showtime Marching Band on TNT and ESPN2. As part of the Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 18, Jimmie Allen, MGK, Quavo, Anuel AA, Kane Brown and Haddish will take the field. ET on ESPN.
