The Nick Cannon Show Canceled After Just 1 Season, Series Expected to End in May

Nick Cannon's talk show has been canceled. The daytime talk show premiered just five months ago, in September 2021

A Variety report stated that the ending comes just over five months after Cannon's eponymous talk show premiered on Fox in September 2021.

The show's producers, Debmar-Mercury, and Ira Bernstein, of Lionsgate's Debmar-Mercury, confirmed the show's cancellation.

"It's never easy to cancel a production with clear potential, but after a great deal of deliberation and examining various options, we have made the difficult business decision to end production on Nick Cannon," said Marcus and Bernstein.

Viewers will still get new episodes of the daytime talk show "through the remainder of this season,".

"Our thanks go to the very talented Nick Cannon and our wonderful production team, and we wish Nick continued success with his many hit ventures," Marcus and Bernstein concluded.

According to Deadline, Cannon's show was the lowest-rated single-host syndicated daytime talk show this season.

The show reportedly has enough episodes recorded to complete the season. According to the report, Nick Cannon's first and now only season will end in May.

Variety also reported that Cannon was planning to take a break from his talk show for five weeks while working on his other projects such as The Masked Singer and Wild 'N Out.
