Tiger Woods To be Introduced Into the World Golf Hall of Fame by His 14-Year-Old Daughter

Tiger Woods will share the spotlight with his 14-year-old daughter on his big night.

World Golf Hall of Fame officials announced on Tuesday that Woods' daughter, Sam Alexis Woods, will introduce him for the special moment.

This year's ceremony, previously postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, will take place Wednesday night (March 9) and televised live on the Golf Channel from 7 p.m. EST.

"I am both honored and humbled to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame," Woods Announced at the PGA Tour.

"This past year has been such an incredible journey and the support I've received from my family, friends and fans has been overwhelming," he added. "This achievement is the ultimate recognition to never give up and keep chasing."

Woods' appearance at the event is one of his few public appearances after suffering serious injuries in a car accident in February 2021.
