While Diddy has claimed it's “all love” between Will Smith and Chris Rock. The televised slap that took place during Sunday’s Oscars ceremony remains to be the talk of Hollywood and beyond.
During Sunday's ceremony, Smith was seen taking the stage and slapped Rock after the comedian made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith. By Monday morning, police confirmed Rock would not press charges after the incident, which sparked a massive response from viewers and in-person attendees.
Smith then took the stage again to accept the Best Actor award for his performance in King Richard. The actor apologized to the Academy and his fellow nominees during his speech. Rock, however, was not specifically mentioned.
A subsequent after-party hosted by Vanity Fair featured Smith rapping and dancing to hits from his catalog including "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Miami." Echoing his Oscars speech, Smith told Variety at the party that "it's all about love."
